Dr. Jaime Ricardo Ramos "Kelly" has extensive experience in all types of Bariatric surgeries. Having performed well over 2,000 bariatric surgeries (including: Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy, Lap-Band surgery, Gastric Bypass, the Intragastric Balloon procedure, as well as many revision surgeries).

Dr. Ramos Kelly hails from West Branch, Michigan and served in the U.S. Military before becoming a surgeon.

Dr. Ramos Kelly graduated with honors from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Medical School in 1993. He went on to continue his postgraduate training for General Surgery at The Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. Much of Dr. Ramos Kelly's training was completed in the United States. For instance, Dr. Ramos Kelly completed a 3 year Transplant Fellowship in 2000 at the Michigan Transplant Institute of Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 2003 he finished a Trauma Research Fellowship at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles County Hospital, and Healthcare Network, General Hospital, Los Angeles, CA.  

Dr. Ramos Kelly and his team have been treating patients from around the world for over 10 years with the ultimate goal of changing patients' lives and improving their health. Dr. Ramos Kelly's foremost concern is his patients' well being.  His success is derived from the high standards he demands and his calming disposition.
